From Backyard Discovery to Global Supply Networks
What started as lockdown curiosity in 2020 became something bigger. Researching on Guar bean in Perth backyard garden, our geologist founder discovered guar gum, a critical organic polymer used across mining, drilling and industrial operations. With 95% of global supply originating from India and Australia importing more than $250 million annually, the opportunity was clear. That first one-tonne order to a Perth drilling company grew into a multi-country supply network. Today MPL supplies over 4,000 tonnes of specialty chemicals annually, supporting operations from WA, Queensland, NSW, South Australia and beyond.
